If I had to sum up 2011 in one word it would be…amazing. In one years time I’ve complete 75% of my graduate studies at Towson University, earned a wonderful job at idFive, learned so many new things and I have met some of the most amazing people with amazing stories. I could go on about the past year but I would find it useless. I want to get started on this year.
Goals for 2012
- Becoming a Zen Master.
- Become a better programmer.
- Become more involved in the web design community.
- Read and write more.
- Live a healthier lifestyle (workout, better eating habits, etcetera.)
- Start a business.
- Enjoy life.
I’m really excited of this upcoming year because one of the things I’ve learned how to do this past year is doing. The one thing that I had admit is that I’m a talker and not a doer and for change to come I must accept the current situation and from there improve. To contradict an earlier statement, there are many things that I didn’t get accomplished in 2011. I wanted to start creating WordPress themes to sell and I didn’t. I wanted to start writing more and I didn’t. I wanted to redesign my website and I didn’t. I… could go on all day on the many things that I didn’t do. The point is that this kind of bothered me. So my major goal for 2012 is to be a doer and actually do the things I say I’m going to do.
“When all is said and done more is said than what is done.”
I appreciate your honesty and candor about being a talker and not a doer. Here’s to that changing in 2012! #Finish
